
KARACHI: Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) showcased a major leap in Pakistan’s auto industry at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2025, unveiling three brands and eleven new models, including the country’s first CKD range-extended electric SUV, the Deepal S05. The company described the showcase as Pakistan’s most extensive New Energy Vehicle (NEV) exhibition to date.

The highlight, the Deepal S05, features a C-segment SUV design with electric driving and long-range capability, co-developed with global firms CATL and Huawei. Built on the EPA1 Pure Electric Platform, it offers a combined range of over 1,000 km and comes with advanced safety features, a premium intelligent interior, and more than twenty L2 ADAS functions. The SUV also boasts the longest wheelbase in its class, 23% more cabin space, and comfort-oriented features like a Zero Gravity co-pilot seat. The introductory price is set at Rs9,999,000, with nationwide bookings already open.
MCML also unveiled the Deepal E07, an ultra-luxury E-segment SUV with dual-motor AWD producing 590 hp, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds, air suspension, and Zero Gravity seating. Priced at Rs19,000,000, bookings started from Rs4,000,000. The company additionally introduced Avatr, a new ultra-premium electric brand developed with Changan, Huawei, and CATL, aiming to bring advanced intelligent mobility and futuristic design to Pakistan’s EV market.

CEO Danial Malik said the company is entering a transformative phase, promising three brands and eleven new vehicles over the next two years. “With innovations like the Deepal S05 REEV, the Hunter K50 REEV pickup, and the upcoming Avatr 11, we are bridging the gap between conventional and electric mobility,” he added.
