Written and directed by debutant Ammar Rasool, Neelofar follows the story of a visually impaired woman, Neelofar (Mahira), who meets Mansoor Ali (Fawad), a Lahore-based writer struggling with severe writer’s block. Their chance encounter at an eye clinic sparks a transformative bond, as the trailer depicts Neelofar teaching Mansoor to perceive the world in a new way, both literally and philosophically.
The trailer highlights the couple’s evolving relationship — from playful, intimate moments to more complex emotional terrain. Scenes such as Neelofar blindfolding Mansoor, or standing before a mirror she cannot see, hint at deeper themes of perception, love, and heartbreak. The film’s soundtrack, featuring Zeeshan Ali, adds a dreamy, immersive quality to the narrative.
