Priyanka Chopra stuns as Mandakini in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film GlobeTrotter

Fans excited as Priyanka returns to Indian cinema after six years
HYDERABAD – Celebrated filmmaker SS Rajamouli has unveiled the first look of Priyanka Chopra from his much-anticipated film, tentatively titled GlobeTrotter, sending fans into a frenzy across social media.

Chopra, returning to Indian cinema after six years, will portray Mandakini, a fierce and enigmatic character. In the poster, she is seen balancing on a cliff in a bright yellow saree, aiming a gun, blending traditional grace with bold intensity.

Rajamouli shared the poster online with a heartfelt note: “The woman who redefined Indian Cinema on the global stage. Welcome back, Desi Girl! Can’t wait for the world to witness your myriad shades of MANDAKINI.”

Priyanka also introduced her look, writing: “She’s more than what meets the eye… say hello to Mandakini.” Co-star Mahesh Babu, who leads the cast, added: “And now she arrives… Meet MANDAKINI.”

Fans flooded social media with excitement. One user wrote, “OMG Priyanka Chopra as Mandakini? BOX OFFICE TSUNAMI!” Another added, “That Mandakini poster is pure fire!”

The poster features Chopra in a braided hairstyle, traditional jewellery, kolhapuri sandals, and a striking bindi, perfectly fusing Indian aesthetics with an action-ready aura.

While details of the plot remain under wraps, the film stars Mahesh Babu in the lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist, Kumbha. The production team plans a grand event at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, on November 15, 2025, where the film’s official title will be revealed and live-streamed on JioHotstar.
