FAISALABAD: A shocking incident at a private university in Faisalabad has come to light, where a female BSc student was allegedly raped and blackmailed by a university driver inside the campus parking area.
Police said the accused, Adnan, sexually assaulted the student at gunpoint inside a university van. Another driver, Owais, was also arrested for alleged involvement. Authorities revealed that Adnan had hacked the student’s mobile phone, obtained private photos, and used them to threaten and extort five tolas of gold from her.

A case has been registered against both suspects on charges of rape, blackmail, and extortion. Investigations are ongoing, and police confirmed that further interrogation of the accused is underway to uncover all aspects of the crime.
In a separate incident in Okara, police arrested a father accused of raping his 20-year-old daughter, which led to her pregnancy. Fearing exposure, the father, along with his son and daughter, allegedly killed both the young woman and her newborn child to conceal the crime.
Police said the arrest came after neighbors reported suspicious activity, leading to a raid. All three family members have been taken into custody, and a thorough investigation is ongoing into the horrific abuse and murder case.
