Mahira Khan calls Shah Rukh Khan her 'one and only' on his 60th birthday
MUMBAI – Pakistani star Mahira Khan once again expressed her admiration for Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, dedicating a heartfelt Instagram Story to him on his 60th birthday. The actress, who starred opposite SRK in Raees (2017), has often spoken fondly of her co-star, calling him one of her favorite people in the industry.

Have been advised by authorities that I will not be able to step out and greet all you lovely people who have been waiting for me.
My deepest apologies to all of you but have been informed that it is for the overall safety of everyone due to crowd control issues.

Thank you for…

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan addressed his fans through a post on X (formerly Twitter), explaining why he couldn’t greet them in person outside his residence, Mannat, as he traditionally does each year. “The authorities instructed me not to come outside to meet all the lovely people waiting for me,” he wrote, adding, “I sincerely apologize, but this decision has been taken for everyone’s safety.”

SRK expressed his disappointment, saying, “Not being able to meet you hurts me more than it hurts you. I was really looking forward to seeing you all because I love you so much.”

Despite his absence, thousands of fans had gathered outside Mannat in Mumbai to celebrate the superstar’s birthday, lighting up the streets with chants, posters, and fireworks. Mahira’s message and SRK’s emotional note quickly went viral, melting hearts across the subcontinent.
