KARACHI – The Karachi Traffic Police have issued a comprehensive traffic diversion plan for the Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC-2025), which will take place from November 3 to 6 at the Expo Centre Karachi. The plan outlines alternative routes and heavy-vehicle restrictions across major city arteries to ensure a smooth traffic flow during the international event.
According to the advisory, diversions and filter points will be implemented at key locations, including Karsaz, Millennium Mall, Nipa Chowrangi, New Town, and Liaquatabad. Heavy and commercial vehicles from Nursery via Shahrae Faisal towards the stadium will not be permitted through Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah and Sir Shah Suleman Roads. Motorists from Karsaz and Drigh Road are advised to use Rashid Minhas Road via Millennium Mall and Nipa.

At Nipa Chowrangi, heavy traffic heading towards Hassan Square will be restricted, with diversions available via Gulshan Chowrangi and Sohrab Goth.
In New Town, heavy traffic will not be allowed on Stadium or University Road and will instead be diverted towards Shaheed-e-Millat Road through Baloch Pull. Additional diversions will be in place between 8am–10am and 3pm–5pm for vehicles from Liaquatabad and Gharibabad.
