
ISLAMABAD – Sohail Muhammad Leghari has been appointed as the new Registrar of the Supreme Court, part of a series of important administrative appointments, officials confirmed.
Leghari, a Grade-22 officer from the Sindh judiciary, is currently serving as Secretary of the Supreme Judicial Council. He has previously held the position of Registrar at the Sindh High Court and brings extensive experience in judicial administration and institutional affairs.

In addition, Fakhar Zaman has been named Director General Reforms of the Supreme Court, bringing wide experience in policy development and institutional reforms. Abid Rizwan Abid has been appointed Secretary of the Supreme Judicial Council, while several deputy registrars have been assigned additional charges as additional registrars across various branch registries.
These appointments aim to strengthen judicial administration and improve institutional efficiency within Pakistan’s apex court.
