LAHORE – Renowned Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has revealed that love has recently entered her life, and she is cherishing the experience. Speaking candidly during a podcast appearance, the acclaimed actress opened up about her personal life, health struggles, and evolving perspective on romance.
Responding to a question, Saba said that many people make light of mental stress, but those who face it understand its true gravity. She revealed that she suffered a mild heart attack during the shooting of one of her recent dramas. “My doctor told me that heart attacks don’t only come from cholesterol — stress can also trigger them,” she shared, adding that the experience taught her to prioritize her health and emotional well-being.

Discussing her work, the actress said she used to find romantic scenes difficult, as “our childhoods rarely teach us romance.” However, she added that she is now learning to enjoy such roles. “Crying scenes always came naturally to me, but romance is new in my life — and I’m enjoying it,” she said with a smile.
When asked jokingly about actor Usman Mukhtar, often dubbed a “lucky star” for women, Saba responded playfully, saying one should always be prepared, “whether marriage happens or not.” She explained that love and marriage require time and balance — luxuries she currently doesn’t have due to her demanding schedule.
The actress concluded that love, marriage, and children are matters of destiny, saying, “Everyone desires love and stability in life, but these things happen only when they’re written in fate.”
