Larvae were detected at 274 sites, prompting immediate cleanup and fogging operations. The administration said door-to-door inspections and larvae removal drives are being conducted daily in all union councils, with strict orders for anti-dengue teams to respond swiftly to any reported breeding hotspots.
Officials urged public cooperation, stressing that cleanliness and prevention of water stagnation in pots, containers, and rooftops are key to halting the spread. Special squads have been deployed for fogging, spraying, and awareness drives in dengue-prone localities, including rural zones and under-construction areas.
