A speeding water tanker collided with a garbage vehicle near Zubaida Hospital in Orangi Town, leaving a 10-year-old boy dead and another man injured. Police said the deceased was identified as Javed, son of Muhammad Essa, while the injured, 25-year-old . Biryale, son of Khair Muhammad, was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment. Following the accident, angry residents set the water tanker on fire in protest. Police reached the scene promptly and brought the situation under control. Authorities said the tanker driver fled the scene, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest him. Legal proceedings are in progress.
