Case Registered Against Couple for Assault and Threats in Faisalabad

Published on: September 27, 2025 12:41 PM

FAISALABAD: Police have registered a case against a couple and another individual for allegedly breaking into the house of an overseas Pakistani woman, assaulting her brother, threatening her with a pistol, and vandalizing property.

According to the FIR filed by Amna Azam, a resident of Eden Valley who runs a business in Dubai, the incident took place on September 19 at around 7:30 pm. She alleged that Sheikh Ali, alias Sameer, and his wife, Bisma Sameer, residents of Ghalib City and distant relatives, forcibly entered her house while she was away. They allegedly damaged furniture, including a glass table, and physically attacked her brother, leaving him injured.

Amna further claimed that when she returned home, the accused confronted her, pulled out a pistol, placed it on her while she was in her car, and threatened to kill her. She maintained that CCTV footage of the incident exists.

She also alleged that three days prior, the suspects had stolen 3,650 dirhams and Rs280,000 in Pakistani currency from her house. When she questioned them over the theft, the accused reportedly became violent, threatened her, and vandalized the property.

Madina Town police have registered a case under sections 506, 354, and 427/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and launched a search to apprehend the suspects.
