Gold prices in Pakistan continued to rise on Wednesday, following gains in the international market. The price per tola increased by Rs1,000, reaching Rs361,700. This marked a steady upward trend over two consecutive days.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10 grams of gold also became more expensive. It was priced at Rs310,099 after gaining Rs857 during the day. This shows a clear impact from global market changes.
On Tuesday, gold prices had already climbed by Rs900 per tola. That brought the rate to Rs360,700. The consistent rise suggests growing demand or changing investor sentiment.
Meanwhile, gold prices rose internationally as well. The global rate hit $3,390 per ounce, showing a $10 increase. APGJSA noted this included a $20 premium, reflecting market adjustments.
In contrast, silver prices dropped slightly in the local market. The price per tola fell by Rs53 to settle at Rs4,068. This marks a minor correction amid rising gold prices.
