The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has denied reports claiming that PTI founder Imran Khan’s house is being auctioned. NAB sources clarified that no such orders exist against his properties in the £190 million case. According to them, the media reports regarding the auction of Khan’s residence are completely baseless.
Officials confirmed that Imran Khan has already surrendered in the £190 million case. As a result, there are no active court orders for the auction of any of his personal assets in this matter. NAB sources also said that none of Khan’s properties were included in the court’s ruling on the case. The auction directives apply only to absconding suspects, not Khan himself.
Meanwhile, authorities are proceeding with the court-ordered auction of three properties linked to absconders. These include 405 and 248 kanals of land in Mouza Mohra Noor, which are scheduled to be auctioned today. Additionally, a plot on 3 Club Road, Islamabad, is also part of the auction list. The properties were seized after the suspects were declared proclaimed offenders.
The confusion appears to stem from the auction of these unrelated properties. Officials emphasized that the process is being carried out strictly under judicial instructions. They urged media outlets to verify such claims before publishing to avoid spreading misinformation.
This clarification comes amid heightened public interest and speculation surrounding the legal cases involving Imran Khan. As court proceedings continue, NAB maintains that it is following legal procedures and respecting all court rulings.
