DG ISPR engages students at Rawalpindi medical university

Published on: August 9, 2025 12:25 PM

Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited Rawalpindi Medical University for a special session with students. He interacted directly with the youth and participated in a lively question-and-answer segment. Students welcomed him warmly and appreciated the opportunity to engage with a top military official. They asked questions about national issues and expressed great interest in understanding the army’s role. The event created a strong connection between the youth and the armed forces.

Throughout the session, General Ahmed Sharif spoke openly about national unity, security challenges, and the importance of staying informed. He encouraged students to remain patriotic and stand firm against misinformation. His words inspired many students to voice their loyalty to Pakistan. They showed great respect for the sacrifices made by the military. This open dialogue helped clarify many concerns among the young participants.

Students said such sessions are needed now more than ever. They believe that interaction with military leaders strengthens national awareness. According to them, no enemy propaganda can break their bond with the Pakistan Army. Many said that youth will always stand with their defenders. They thanked the university and ISPR for arranging the session.

The DG ISPR’s visit also aimed to strengthen the relationship between students and state institutions. It reflected the army’s ongoing efforts to engage positively with civil society. Events like this promote national harmony and help counter anti-state narratives. The military hopes to continue such outreach programs in other educational institutions. Students welcomed this idea with enthusiasm.

The session highlighted strong public trust in the armed forces. It also showed the army’s willingness to listen and respond. Students left the event feeling proud and motivated. The visit was more than symbolic—it was a bridge between Pakistan’s present and its future. Both sides agreed that unity and awareness are key to a stronger nation.
