Israeli PM Netanyahu reveals Iran fired missile at his bedroom window, planned assassination attempts on Trump

In a startling revelation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu disclosed that Iran once fired a missile at the window of his bedroom, targeting him directly. He also revealed that Iran had labeled former U.S. President Donald Trump as its top enemy and planned two assassination attempts against him.

In an interview with American broadcaster Fox News, Netanyahu explained that the two planned attacks on Trump were to take place at a rally in Pennsylvania and at Trump’s golf club. These plots were allegedly in response to Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal and his tough stance against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Netanyahu emphasized that Trump’s actions, including the killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani and preventing Iran from enriching uranium, made him Iran’s primary target. Netanyahu described himself as Trump’s “junior partner” in efforts to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

According to Netanyahu, Israel faces a dual existential threat. On one side, Iran’s rapid uranium enrichment aims to build nuclear weapons, while on the other, Iran is expanding its ballistic missile arsenal. These dangers forced Israel to respond decisively at the last moment.

This interview was Netanyahu’s first detailed explanation of the Israeli military operation “Operation Rising Line,” which began on June 13. The operation targets Iran’s nuclear and missile infrastructure. Netanyahu called this mission essential for Israel’s survival and global security.

Netanyahu’s statements highlight the ongoing tension and risks between Israel and Iran. The missile attack on his home and the assassination plots against Trump underline the high stakes involved in the regional conflict.
