The Pakistani Rupee on Friday gained 7 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 279.59 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 279.66. However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market stood at Rs 279.1 and Rs 281.3 respectively. The price of the Euro decreased by Rs 2.01 to close at Rs 302.46 against the last day’s closing of Rs 304.47, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs1.89, whereas a decrease of Rs 1.20 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which traded at Rs354.62 compared to the last closing of Rs 355.82. The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal decreased by 02 paisa each to close at Rs 76.12 and Rs 74.55 respectively.
