High-value terrorist among four killed in KP operations: ISPR RAWALPINDI (Monitoring News) – Four terrorists were killed by security forces in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday, the army’s media wing has reported. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence based operation (IBO) was conducted in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district. During the operation, high-value terrorist Tabassum alias Qadarman along with his associate Sajid alias Sarkandi were killed in a trade of fire with the security forces. In another joint operation conducted by the security forces and police in Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, two more terrorists were killed, the ISPR added in a statement. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the dead terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces. The two terrorists were found involved in extortion and target killings incidents, and were highly wanted by law enforcement agencies. The ISPR said sanitisation operations were being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. Locals of the area appreciated the operations and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
