LAHORE: The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Monday announced the position holders of matriculation examination 2017 at a ceremony held at BISE Lahore Office. Lahore BISE Chairman Chaudhry Ismail announced the names. According to the results, Umer Tariq of the Teach A Child High School for Boys grabbed first position by securing 1,087 marks, Soban Khalid of the Muslim Public High School Sheikhupura and Aleesa Kaleem of The Educators School Ferozwala stood second by securing 1,086 marks whereas third position was clinched by Muhammad Abdullah of the Unique High School Muslim Town and Muhammad Abdullah Saleem of Government Central Model High School Lahore by securing 1,085 marks each. Aleesa Kaleem of The Educators Feozwala clinched first position among girls in Science Group by securing 1,086 marks. Three students, including Zunaira Khan of Allama Iqbal Public School Kasur, Afaf Rehman of Crescent Model High School Lahore and Maira Zafar of The Educators School, Pattoki stood third by securing 1,083 marks. Thrid position in the same category was shared by six students, including Misbah Nasir of The Educators Sir Syed Campus Pattoki, Laraib Akmal, Farwa, Hafiza Khadeeja Mutahir, Fatima Awais and Adeen Imtiaz by securing 1,082 marks. Moreover, Umer Tariq of Teach A Child High School for Boys Johar Town got first position by securing 1,087 marks, Soban Khalid of Muslim Public High School Sheikhupura secured second position by securing 1,086 marks whereas third position was shared by Muhammad Abdullah of the Unique High School Muslim Town and Muhammad Abdullah Saleem of the Government Central Model High School Lahore by security 1,085 marks in Science Group. In Humanities group, Habiba Bahjat of the Qurban Girls High School Lahore clinched first position among girls by securing 1,055 marks, while Ayesha of the Allama Iqbal School Kasur and Fariha Haq of the Government Pak Standard School Shadbagh Lahore bagged second and third position by securing 1,052 and 1,041 marks, respectively. Meanwhile, Usama Ikram of the Government High School Sheikhupura and Zaryab Amjad, a private student, grabbed first position and secured 1,020 marks among boys in Humanities Group. Ghazanfar Ali of the Government Taeed ul Islam School Kasur and Muhammad Afzal, a private candidate, got second and third positions by securing 1,016 and 1,001 marks, respectively.
