CHITRAL: The councilors on Saturday rubbishes the allegations leveled against an assistant engineer and termed the accusations a bid to damage the reputation of what they argued an honest and devoted public servant. Speaking at a press conference here, councilors including Mursaleen Khan, Sher Azam, Nisar Ahmad and other said that the village council IV Chitralnazims had levelled unfounded allegation against the Assistant Engineer Fahim Jalal for canceling tenders for projects in the area. They said that the engineer had ordered canceling the tenders by raising legal objections and not fulfilling the legal requirements before issuing the tenders. They said that the move enraged the councilors and they addressed a press conference in haste and levelled baseless accusations against the said officers.
