ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is all set to take to the streets on September 3 against the incumbent government – especially Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members – over the Panamagate, while the party’s think tank has also started deliberating over its possible moves after the scheduled rally from Shahdara to Charing Cross to maximise the pressure on the government. Sources said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been recommended to hold a rally in Lahore’s Jati Umra, home to Nawaz Sharif, once he is done with leading the protest on September 3. Meanwhile, the party has also decided to hold a rally named ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ in Karachi Defence Day (September 6) to condemn the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) founder’s anti-Pakistan speech earlier this month. The PTI chief has also been recommended to “shut down cities” in the last phase of the movement that calls for accountability of the premier and his family members.
