ISLAMABAD: A fashion designing exhibition organised by the Millennium University College Islamabad featuring work of the graduating class of 2016-17 portrayed the true colours of Pakistan on Friday. The exhibition, which took place at the culmination of the two-year higher national diploma program in fashion and textile, displayed projects of the creative and dynamic fashion students covering a vast array of products, including prints, furniture, interior decor layouts and installations. The participants drew their inspiration from diverse sources such as culture, architecture, environment as well as everyday objects. The style of the exhibition was both contemporary and classic to suit a variety of palettes. Asma Khan, founder of Satrang Gallery, was the chief guest who congratulated the leadership, management and faculty of the institution for developing a fashion department at par with the international standards. She offered the fashion students an opportunity to display their work at her gallery. A large number of students and parents also participated and appreciated the efforts of the students.
