Pakistan were on Sunday dominated for a second-consecutive time in Asia Cup 2018 by arch-rivals India, who cruised their way to a 9-wicket win in Super Four stage of the tournament at Dubai International Stadium.

Indian supporters roared as deafening silence overpowered the Pakistani side. Sunday’s battle was pretty much a replay of the group-stages; Pakistan won the toss, batted first, choked under-pressure, crawled their way to a minimal total, dropped catches and the bowling did not fire.
The performance was below-par. So much so that India’s only wicket fell via a run-out and so much so that the fans now hope that Pakistan loses to Bangladesh so they do not have to face a treble of disappointments at the hands of India – who have qualified for the final and are waiting for their opponent.
Fingers are pointed towards captain Sarfaraz Ahmad, who is being heavily criticised for failing to lead from the front. People believe Sarfaraz is a bit too vocal and ‘insulting’ to his players and has no right to scold someone unless he starts to perform better.
It is clear that Pakistani supporters are not happy. Scores of the lovers of the green-team and the game have tweeted their disappointments in a range of emotions. Some have been aggressively critical, while others have been more humourous than angry.
Lack of squad depth and ill-suited players are reason why Pakistan team is absolute shambles, believes this Twitter users

Veterans Muhammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali’s experience would have strengthened the team. Can not only depend on youth, believes this user

And Twitter is totally not impressed by Sarfaraz Ahmad. He has been subjected to memes, harsh comments, criticism, while some also demand his resignation as captain
