Celebrities react with grief after Quetta train blast kills 14

Mahira Khan, Talha Anjum share grief and heartbreak as 14 killed in Quetta train attack

Pakistan’s entertainment industry joined national mourning after a deadly explosion struck a passenger train in Quetta, killing at least 14 people and injuring around 20 others, according to officials.

The blast occurred on Sunday morning as the train was passing through a railway crossing in the provincial capital. The explosion reportedly derailed several bogies and damaged nearby vehicles waiting at the crossing, causing panic in the surrounding area. Authorities said the victims included passengers, pedestrians, residents of nearby houses, and security personnel, including members of the Frontier Constabulary.

As news of the tragedy spread, celebrities across Pakistan expressed grief and solidarity with the victims’ families. Actor Mahira Khan reacted to the incident with sorrow, questioning how many more lives would be lost in similar attacks, reflecting widespread public frustration and heartbreak.

Actor Sarwat Gilani shared a brief message of condolence, posting broken heart emojis to express her grief.

Rapper Talha Anjum also commented on the attack, expressing support for those affected and condemning those responsible for targeting innocent civilians. He shared prayers for the deceased and called for justice for the victims.

Singer Farhan Saeed said his heart went out to the victims and their families, describing the attack as a tragic act of violence. He urged strong action against those behind such incidents, calling for accountability.

Fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin also expressed deep sorrow, noting that the loss of innocent lives had left families devastated and the nation in grief.

The incident has once again raised concerns about security in sensitive areas and the safety of public transport routes. Rescue and investigation teams continue to assess the site, while authorities have pledged to identify those responsible and take action.

The tragedy has sparked widespread mourning across the country, with citizens and public figures alike calling for peace and an end to violence targeting civilians.
