National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said there is no mistrust between the United States and Iran. He stated that negotiations between the two countries are expected to begin soon. His remarks came during a public event in Lahore.
He said Pakistan has played a positive role in promoting regional dialogue. He expressed optimism that diplomatic efforts would soon resume. He added that talks could even be held in Islamabad in the near future.

Ayaz Sadiq said Pakistan maintains strong relations with multiple global powers including the US, Iran, China, and Saudi Arabia. He claimed Pakistan has helped bring opposing sides closer for dialogue. He stressed that peace remains a key national objective.
He also referred to past regional tensions and said Pakistan has consistently supported peaceful resolutions. He praised the current leadership for improving diplomatic engagement. He said recent developments show growing international confidence in Pakistan’s role.

He added that there is no distrust between Iran and Pakistan, citing ongoing high-level communications. He said frequent contact between foreign ministers reflects strong bilateral ties. He expressed hope that formal negotiations would begin very soon.
