
In Karachi, Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon reaffirmed that the provincial government remains fully committed to its mission of public service, emphasizing that all available resources are being utilized to ensure development and prosperity across the province.

Speaking during a meeting with a delegation of the Karachi Union of Journalists, Memon stated that the government is taking comprehensive and coordinated steps in multiple sectors to provide better facilities and promote sustainable growth. He said the vision is to create a Sindh where every citizen has access to basic amenities, employment opportunities, and an improved quality of life.

The minister highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure, including the construction and rehabilitation of roads, improved urban planning, and the swift execution of development projects. He added that the upgradation of public hospitals, provision of modern healthcare facilities, and capacity-building of medical staff are among the government’s top priorities to ensure timely and effective treatment for citizens.
Memon also pointed to reforms in the education sector, including the restoration of schools, recruitment of teachers, and initiatives to improve academic standards. He noted that the use of modern technology is being encouraged to enhance learning outcomes.
Addressing inflation-related challenges, he said that the government has strengthened price control mechanisms and is taking strict action against hoarding and profiteering. Subsidy programs and affordable markets are also being introduced to provide relief to the public.

The minister further said that an effective system is being developed to address public complaints promptly. Issues faced by journalists and media organizations were also discussed during the meeting, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
