Published on: March 31, 2026 1:15 AM

Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, said that the Sindh government is committed to public service. He stated that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the development and prosperity of the province. Comprehensive and coordinated measures have been taken across various sectors to provide better facilities to the people and promote sustainable development. He added that the government’s vision is a Sindh where every citizen has access to basic facilities, employment, and a good quality of life.

A delegation of the Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ), led by Tahir Hassan Khan and Liaquat Kashmiri, met with Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the issues faced by journalists and media houses, the provision of facilities to journalists, and other important matters.

Speaking during a meeting with the KUJ delegation, the Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that work on the construction and repair of roads, as well as urban planning and development schemes, is progressing rapidly to improve infrastructure. He said that special attention is being given to upgrading government hospitals, providing modern medical facilities, and increasing the capacity of doctors and medical staff. Ensuring timely and better healthcare services for the public remains one of the government’s top priorities.

He further said that, alongside reforms to rehabilitate schools, recruit teachers, and improve the quality of education, the use of modern technology is also being promoted. The price control mechanism has been strengthened to curb inflation, with indiscriminate action being taken against hoarding and illegal profiteering. Relief is also being provided to the public through subsidized markets and support programs.

The Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon added that an effective system is being established to address public grievances so that citizens’ issues can be resolved promptly.
