The court ordered Cosby to pay $19.25 million in damages to Motsinger. The verdict adds to the legal challenges faced by the former television star, who previously served three years in prison after being convicted of assaulting Andrea Constand. That conviction was later overturned, leading to his release in 2021.

At the height of his career, his net worth was estimated between $300 million and $400 million, supported by extensive investments in art and real estate alongside his wife, Camille Cosby.
Recent reports suggest his wealth has declined to around $200 million, largely tied up in property and art collections. Financial pressures, including tax liabilities and mortgage obligations, have also been reported.
