
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged Turkiye’s role in promoting peace between Pakistan and Afghanistan during a call with Recep Tayyip Erdogan. According to an official statement, both leaders discussed the situation in Afghanistan and recent peace initiatives. The prime minister appreciated Turkiye’s efforts in encouraging dialogue and reducing tensions. He highlighted the importance of cooperation during the Eidul Fitr ceasefire period.
