Pakistan have warned England to expect a stern trial by spin in their Super Eights clash. The warning follows England’s struggle against Sri Lanka’s slow bowlers. The high-stakes match could decide semi-final qualification in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Farhan said Pakistan’s spin depth would pose an even tougher challenge. He added that the pitch in Kandy appears helpful for spinners.

Pakistan urgently need a win after their opener against New Zealand was washed out. A defeat could push England into the semi-finals with a game remaining. Pakistan would then rely on other results to advance. The Men in Green must also defeat Sri Lanka in their final match.
Pakistan’s spinners have dominated the tournament so far. They have claimed 26 wickets in four matches. In contrast, seamers have managed only seven dismissals. Pakistan may include spinner Abrar Ahmed in place of Faheem Ashraf.
