The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has adjourned the hearing of 11 cases related to May 9 without any proceedings until February 21. The adjournment was due to the leave of the court judge, Amjad Ali Shah. The hearing could not take place even on the application regarding the medical examination of the former chairman and his wife, as well as access for their personal physicians. The court had scheduled the hearing for Friday; however, the application was also postponed until February 2. The former chairman’s lawyers had filed the application on Thursday, seeking permission for his personal physicians to visit Adyala Jail for a medical check-up and examination.
