
All nine educational boards in Punjab have announced a revised schedule for Matric and Intermediate exams, adjusting dates to accommodate the holy month of Ramadan and ensure student convenience.
Matric examinations will now begin on March 27 instead of March 3, with results expected on August 6, allowing students more time to prepare while observing Ramadan and its associated activities.

Intermediate exams are scheduled to start on May 20, with results set for September 23, while Class 9 results will be announced on September 2 and First Year (Part-I) results on August 22.
For students who cannot attend the regular exams, supplementary Matric exams will commence on October 6, with results to be released on December 8, and Intermediate supplementary exams starting on November 3.

The Intermediate supplementary results will be declared on January 12, 2027, ensuring that all students, including those who missed exams, receive their results in a timely manner to plan their next academic steps.
Education officials emphasized that the revised schedule aims to provide a smooth examination process, giving students adequate preparation time, maintaining fairness, and ensuring consistency across all Punjab boards during the academic session.
