The Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) confirmed the footage was genuine and matched the profile photos of CM Afridi, former ministers Taimur Saleem Jhagra and Kamran Bangash, as well as PTI leaders Irfan Saleem and Amir Khan Chamkani.

The report, based on multiple camera angles, noted that the clips were not edited, except for merging different views. It did not, however, confirm whether the footage was directly connected to the Radio Pakistan incident or another event. The forensic findings could lead the investigating officer or Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation to seek the inclusion of these individuals as accused through supplementary reports to the ATC.
PTI leaders have dismissed the report’s significance, calling the clips unrelated to the Radio Pakistan attack. Taimur Jhagra stated that one clip attributed to him was recorded in Islamabad during a condemnation of Imran Khan’s arrest, not in Peshawar. He described the viral posts as a political campaign against the chief minister and others who were not previously nominated in the case.
Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari, however, defended the report, describing it as “irrefutable evidence” of a planned conspiracy involving arson attacks on Radio Pakistan and toll plazas in Peshawar. She added that the videos and photographic evidence were admissible in court and those involved in rioting would be held accountable.

The ATC has scheduled the next hearing for January 26. The trial, which began in June 2025, involves 75 accused, including present and former lawmakers, facing multiple charges stemming from the incidents following PTI founder Imran Khan’s arrest.
