Cyberattack on the Punjab Forensic Science Agency was revealed; a hacker group named BEAST claims to have hacked 900 GB of data of the agency, and details of the PFSA data breach were also released on a foreign website.
The hacker who hacked the Punjab Forensic Science Agency system has claimed that the forensic agency’s system was compromised on November 10, 2025. The Punjab Forensic Science Agency’s website domain was revealed as the affected institution. The hacker group BEAST also posted a claim of responsibility.
The hacker also claimed unauthorized access to forensic reports, department files, and records. Punjab Forensic Science confirmed the cyberattack. PITB and the forensic agency effectively thwarted the foreign cyberattack.
The spokesperson said that the teams led by Chairman PITB succeeded in stopping the data encryption attack. All records and reports of the Punjab Forensic Science Agency are safe. 100 percent of the steps were taken in a timely manner to secure the Punjab Forensic Science Agency data. There was a plan in place to protect against cyberattacks.
