Police officials, however, have issued strict warnings against dangerous and unlawful activities during the celebrations. The South district police cautioned revellers against aerial firing, one-wheeling and hooliganism, stressing that violators would face strict legal action. Authorities said cases of attempted murder would be registered against anyone found engaging in aerial firing.
To ensure public safety and maintain law and order, police have announced extensive security arrangements across Seaview and adjoining localities. According to officials, more than 2,400 police officers and personnel will be deployed in the area throughout New Year’s Eve.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South said that six police platoons would be stationed at Seaview and nearby areas to deter any untoward incidents. He added that a total of 2,451 officers, including intelligence staff, had been assigned to the area, making it clear that no unlawful activities would be tolerated during the celebrations.
The security plan includes the deployment of several senior police officers, along with 80 mobile patrol units and 106 motorcycle patrols to maintain a visible presence. Mounted police units will also patrol the beach and surrounding roads, while intelligence teams have been directed to remain vigilant and monitor the situation closely.

In addition to security measures, traffic management plans have been put in place to facilitate smooth movement. Police said that both tracks from Seaview McDonald’s to Khayaban-e-Ittehad would be converted into one-way routes to reduce congestion and manage the expected rush of visitors.
Authorities urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, follow traffic and safety instructions, and celebrate responsibly so that the New Year festivities can remain peaceful and enjoyable for everyone.
