Jenna Bush Hager celebrated her birthday on her daytime talkshow

The celebration began with a video message from Kotb. “JBH, good morning,” Kotb greeted, smiling at the camera. “It’s 5 a.m., just getting ready to start the day and guess what was on my calendar? It’s your birthday! Happy birthday, my girl. I love you. I wish I could be with you, but know that I’m with you in spirit.”

Moments later, the real surprise unfolded as Kotb appeared live on set, stepping out from behind a curtain carrying chips and queso as a nod to Hager’s Texas roots. Shocked and emotional, Hager exclaimed, “I cannot believe you’re here. I cannot believe you came,” embracing her longtime friend.

The reunion continued with guest host Andy Cohen joining the pair. Together, they laughed, reminisced, and Kotb shared updates about her wellness app, Joy 101, highlighting her post-Today ventures.

Kotb had left Today With Jenna & Friends after 17 years as a staple anchor. Her departure was motivated by a desire to spend more time with her children and focus on her wellness business. The surprise return emphasized the strong bond between the co-hosts and showcased the heartfelt camaraderie that has made the show a daytime favorite.
