Bannu Terrorist Operation Kills 22 Militants

Security forces carried out a Bannu terrorist operation on November 24. They killed 22 militants from the India-backed group . Troops acted on intelligence reports and engaged the terrorists at their hideout. After a fierce firefight, all 22 militants were killed. A sanitization operation is ongoing to remove any remaining threats.

The operation is part of Pakistan’s ongoing counterterrorism campaign, “Azm-e-Istehkam.” ISPR said security forces and law enforcement agencies continue to eliminate foreign-supported terrorism nationwide. The campaign operates at full speed and targets extremist factions in multiple regions. Local communities actively support the security forces, strengthening these operations.
