Authorities have deployed a heavy police presence to maintain order, and the deceased and injured have been shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. Investigations are underway to identify the perpetrators and their motives.

The incident follows a series of intelligence-driven operations against Khawarij militants in KP. Earlier, Sajjad alias Abu Zar, a key ringleader, and 22 other militants were killed in operations in Bajaur and Bannu districts. Security forces successfully neutralized the threats, targeting locations linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna Al Khwarij.
