JERUSALEM: Israeli occupation forces killed at least eight Palestinians on Friday in a series of violent incidents across the occupied territories, including the deaths of two teenagers in the West Bank. The Palestinian health ministry confirmed that 18-year-old Amr Khaled Ahmed Al-Marbou and 16-year-old Sami Ibrahim Sami Mashayekh were fatally shot in Kufr Aqab near Ramallah, where Israeli troops carried out an overnight raid.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, both victims suffered live bullet injuries, with one shot in the chest. Witnesses said the teenagers were unarmed and posed no threat. Oday al-Shurfa, a friend of Marbou, told AFP that soldiers opened fire without provocation, adding that Marbou was struck directly in the heart and died instantly. Kufr Aqab, though formally part of occupied East Jerusalem, is isolated by Israel’s separation wall and lacks municipal services from either Israeli or Palestinian authorities.
In the besieged southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said it killed five Palestinians in an area east of the so-called Yellow Line, claiming the individuals presented an “immediate threat.” Palestinian groups have dismissed such claims, noting that resistance activities in Gaza have remained suspended since a ceasefire was announced. A hospital official in Khan Yunis also reported another Palestinian killed by Israeli fire.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military confirmed that its Tuesday strike on the Ain al-Helweh refugee camp in southern Lebanon killed 13 Palestinians. The army labelled the victims as “Hamas terrorists”, a claim that Lebanese and Palestinian sources have yet to independently verify.
