Madhuri Dixit faces backlash after arriving 3 hours late to Toronto show

Madhuri Dixit faces criticism for late arrival at Toronto show
TORONTO – Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit is under fire after arriving nearly three hours late to her live show in Toronto, part of her ongoing “The Golden Diva of Bollywood” USA-Canada tour.

Frustrated fans took to social media to vent their anger, calling the event “poorly organised” and accusing promoters of misleading advertising. Many attendees claimed that the show, marketed as a live performance, largely consisted of conversations with only brief dance segments.

One attendee posted: “If I could give you one piece of advice, it’s not to attend the Madhuri Dixit tour. Save your money.” Another called it “the worst show ever… so unorganised.” Audience members said they were expecting a full dance performance, not a talk show, and several reportedly walked out demanding refunds.

Adding to the discontent, attendees said Madhuri appeared around 10 PM, despite tickets stating a 7:30 PM start time. One frustrated fan wrote: “It just started way too late and disrespected the audience’s time.” Others complained about “lame talks” and poor event coordination.

However, many defended Madhuri, saying she was not to blame for the mismanagement. A fan commented: “She’s a legendary artiste. Real fans would appreciate any glimpse of her. It’s not her fault if it wasn’t organised correctly.”

Despite the mixed reactions, the actress continues her tour with upcoming stops scheduled in New Jersey, Boston, Chicago, Houston, and New York, where fans hope for a smoother experience.
