Prince William’s relationship with his uncle, Prince Andrew, has reportedly deteriorated following alleged disrespectful comments Andrew made about Kate Middleton, insiders have revealed.
According to royal expert Andrew Lownie, the Prince of Wales was left “furious” after his uncle’s remarks about the Princess of Wales, the details of which have not been made public. The revelations come from Lownie’s new book, shedding light on long-standing tensions within the royal family.

“William, meanwhile, was ‘furious’ at being ambushed in this way,” Lownie wrote, citing close friends of the heir to the throne. “He has been at pains to distance himself from his uncle and not be photographed with him.”
The book further claims that William believes his father, King Charles III, has not handled the issue with enough firmness and that both Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have “undermined the good work” of other senior royals.

One insider quoted in the book added, “He also loathes Sarah, Andrew’s ex-wife, and can’t wait for the day when his father throws them both out. If Charles doesn’t, I guarantee you the first thing William does when he eventually becomes king is to get them evicted.”
