Hania Aamir has captured the hearts of Bangladeshi fans during her recent visit to Dhaka, sparking excitement both online and on the streets. The Sardaarji 3 actress posted a viral Instagram video showcasing a massive Sunsilk billboard welcoming her, captioned playfully as “Sunsilk Bangladesh you pookie.” The clip immediately sent social media into a frenzy, cementing her popularity in the city.

Since landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday, Hania has made efforts to connect deeply with locals. She greeted Bangladesh with a Facebook post written in Bengali, saying, “Assalamualaikum, Bangladesh, how are you?” accompanied by Pakistani and Bangladeshi flags. The heartfelt gesture quickly went viral, earning thousands of reactions and praise for her warm and thoughtful approach.

On Friday, Hania explored Dhaka’s cultural heritage, making a low-profile visit to Ahsan Manzil, the historic Nawabbari palace. Traveling without a large entourage, she impressed onlookers with her humble demeanor. Adding intrigue to her trip, she was reportedly guided by Namira Naeem, daughter of the famous 1990s film couple Naeem and Shabnaz, which further captured public interest.

Hania’s embrace of Dhaka’s food scene has also charmed her fans. Rather than dining in luxury hotels, she opted for street food favorites like jhalmuri and phuchka, generously spiced with naga peppers. Witnesses said she enjoyed the fiery flavors with enthusiasm, winning admiration from locals who appreciated her willingness to experience their culture authentically.

In a standout moment, Hania surprised a cheering crowd by speaking Bangla during a public appearance. Dressed in a stunning black sequin outfit, she addressed the audience with “Rakin Tume Dekhte Shundor,” meaning “You look very beautiful.” The video spread rapidly across social media, drawing praise from both Bangladeshi and Pakistani fans for her effort to connect linguistically.

Her growing presence in Bangladesh has been further amplified by her Sunsilk campaign, now prominently featured across Dhaka billboards. On Instagram, she shared photos in a traditional saree paired with her signature dimpled smile, attracting comments from fellow actress Yashma Gill and hundreds of fans. Celebrating nine years in show business, Hania’s Dhaka visit reflects her rising international appeal and ability to build genuine connections beyond borders.
