Popular TikToker Samiya Hijab Jafri has accused a young man from Lahore, identified as Hassan Zahid, of stalking, threatening, and attempting to abduct her over the past three months.
In an Instagram video, Samiya explained that Zahid persistently pressured her to marry him. Despite repeatedly rejecting his advances, he allegedly continued with threats and intimidation, making her fear for her safety.
The situation escalated when Zahid reportedly arrived uninvited outside her home. With her brother absent and her mother unwell, Samiya answered the gate, where he allegedly snatched her mobile phone.
She claimed that while trying to retrieve her phone, Zahid forcibly dragged her toward his car, causing injuries to her face. CCTV footage of the frightening encounter was later shared as evidence.
Samiya revealed visible marks on her face from resisting the alleged abduction. She emphasized that she did not want to face the same fate as her friend Sana Yousaf, who was murdered in Islamabad after refusing a marriage proposal.
Authorities have taken the suspect into custody and produced him in court. Meanwhile, Islamabad Police are providing Samiya with security while legal proceedings continue, as Zahid reportedly seeks bail, which could expose her to further threats.
