Misbehaviour with parents

Published on: August 21, 2015 7:00 PM

Sir: During a meeting at a Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase 1, Rawalpindi school, my friend and father of a preschooler was abused and manhandled by DHA administrator Brigadier Qaiser, Secretary Colonel Ijaz and his team in the presence of DHA Vice President Major General Humayun. In fact, my friend was asking for the adjustment of unjustified fees taken by the DHA school in lieu of the annual function, which never happened. The school was also charging him IT/library fee for his son who has just gotten into kindergarten. The DHA administration has now decided to expel his son from the school. We have heard and suffered a lot at the hands of such schools that have been given a free hand by the government. But this has just gone to a completely new level. Instead of justifying the money these schools charge, now they have started beating up parents who decide to raise a voice against this exploitation. It needs to be stopped now and criminal charges should be filed against the culprits even if they are in uniform. No one is above the law.
