RAWALPINDI: Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Secretary Khalid Yameen Satti has ordered strict action against the transporters who are overcharging passengers and not displaying fare list. The RTA secretary has issued crackdown orders against transporters while taking notice of complaints by the public against overcharging by transporters running vans on routes from Dhmyal Camp to Saddar, Dhok Syedan to Saddar and Raja Bazaar, People’s Colony to Saddar, Sadiqabad to Raja Bazaar and Pirwadhai to Raja Bazaar. The RTA secretary said that the crackdown against transporters involved in overcharging has been launched and strict action will be taken against the violators.
