ISLAMABAD: The interior ministry and the IG Police have delegated sweeping and unbridled powers to the police. According to information received by Daily Times that influential persons of Pindorian Saeen shrine got an elderly arrested by the CIA police because this senior citizen parked his motorcycle before a shop without caring for these persons. Two labourers Yousuf Khan and Shaista Rehman, residents of Pindorian were present outside the vegetable shop of their relative. Two motorcycle riders came there and they parked their motorcycle in front of the shop. They were asked to remove their motorcycle in front of the shop. They took it negatively, exchanged hot words and scuffled. These two youths beat them mercilessly and then went away. They returned after 10 minutes accompanied by some persons and started thrashing the labourers. After half an hour three policemen in plain clothes came there in a car and lifted the labourers, handcuffed them and took them away to the CIA centre in I-9. They reached the Khanna Police Station and Khanna police showed their ignorance. They returned to Pindorian shrine and the attackers’ party told them that the police had taken their relatives to the CIA centre. However both the parties talked the matter over and reached a compromise at the shrine. The two groups reached the CIA centre to secure the release of the two labourers.
