LARKANA: Sindh Rangers conducted raids around Siyal villages and arrested a union council’s former naib nazim Abid Bughio, and 14 other accomplices of Asad Kharal alleged for corruption of Rs 500 million and other criminal activities. According to reports, the Rangers personnel cordoned off Siyal House in Larkana and started checking the outskirts of the area and conducted raids in the surroundings and arrested 14 accomplices of Asad Kharal including a union council’s former naib nazim Abid Hussain Bughio, Ibrahim bughio, Sajid, Rahib, Amir, and others. Sources said that the paramilitary personnel also conducted raids for the arrest of Mansoor Abbasi, who is a close aide of Asad Kharal of Union Council Tangwani in Larkana on Friday, after the directions of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to DG Rangers to stop further raids and arrest of suspects. Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) central leader, Babu Sarwer Siyal, a rival of Sindh Home Minister Sohail Siyal, and Tariq Siyal, alleged them in the involvement of the kidnapping of Syed Awais Shah, the son of Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice Syed Sajad Ali Shah. While addressing a press conference on Friday, he claimed that under the directions of Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal to his brother and three other police officials who are also involved in the criminal activities and they made Larkana into a Liyari with other gang leaders. Tariq Siyal brand himself like Uzair Baloch, he alleged. He disclosed that he had provided evidences of Rs 80 billion corruption to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sukkur Assistant Director Rizwan Alam for such a misappropriation and handed over all the relevant documents for investigation of authorities concerned. Earlier, Tariq Khan Siyal along with Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal had filed a constitutional petition no 760/2016 at Sindh High Court registry in Larkana, against 11 respondents of police, Rangers, NAB, FIA, anti-corruption and other officials of law enforcement agencies seeking protection of life for his family members and party workers. The court issued notices to all concerned to appear on July 28.
