LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team’s former skipper and star all-rounder, Shahid Afridi denies all the blames of being self-oriented. Shahid Khan Afridi said that people’s way to push their agenda makes him sad. He said in a tweet: So sad that people twist my words to push their agenda. I really want talent to emerge from grassroot level1/2 — Shahid Afridi (@SAfridiOfficial) July 17, 2016 “Pakistan defied the odds with the test win against England on England’s home soil proving the critics wrong. Well done boys-proud of you.” He expressed his happiness. “We need players like Yasir Shah, Asad, and Misbah etc to come from our system. We have talent in our team. We need talent at grassroots.” He negated his previous statement. “My heart beats for Pakistan cricket. I am proud of my team at their win and I will always support them.” He further said. Remember that former captain Shahid Afridi had courageously declared himself to be the best among the present cricket team recently and now he comes up disappointed on being misunderstood.
