PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and leadership are all set to take out Tehreek-e-Ehtesab rally from Peshawar to Khairabad Attock on Sunday (today).

Party activists from all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) including, Southern division, Malakand division, Hazara division, Peshawar division and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) would reach Zakori Bridge on Sunday morning.

PTI Chief Imran Khan and other senior leaders from the province and centre including Naeem Ul Haq, Jehangir Tareen, and Shah Mehmmod Qurashi would address the rally at 10:30 am.

District Peshawar Nazim, Muhammad Asim Khan said the Tehreek-e-Ehtesab rally would set out from district Peshawar to Khairabad Attock Bridge with stopovers at five points on the Grand Trunk (GT) Road.

He said that chairman PTI would make his final speech to the rally participants at 7pm in Khairabad.

Nazim Muhammad Asim Khan said that the people from southern districts and FATA would join the rally at Zakori Sharif Bridge on Ring Road Peshawar where the PTI Chief Imran Khan would deliver his opening speech to the rally.

“The rally would travel through GT Road to reach the final destination but would stay at Pubbi Nowshera for a short time and then proceed further to stay at Akora Khattak and Jehangera in Nowshera” he added.

About the arrangement he said that all arrangements had been finalised with support of Insaf Students Federation (ISF) and PTI workers.

Naib Nazim Qasim Ali Shah said that special arrangements had been done regarding women participants’ security. He said that all members and workers have been tasked with responsibilities to convince their near and dear ones to join the rally.

The district councilor said that PTI chief had raised voice against the corruption and in favour of across the board accountability. He urged the people to attend the rally and play their part to support PTI chief in the noble cause for corruption free Pakistan.

Aasia Khattak a PTI Women Wing provincial leader said for the security purpose women would be not allowed to disembark at different spots. She said that a huge number of women are expected to join the rally against the corrupt leaders of Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that the workers of the most of the constituency have rejected to follow the direction of its own constituency lawmakers.

PTI workers from PK-4 have denied to join the rally with MPA Arif Yousaf, and made their own arrangements for joining the rally and rejected to join the lawmaker.

Similarly, the workers of the PTI and supporter of Ziaullah Afridi will also join the rally with its own way under the supervision of Hadayt Ullah Afridi the brother of the MPA Ziaullah Afridi.

The source said that the arrangements and leading role in the rally have been given to the local body representatives as the workers of the four zone show great dissatisfaction over the lawmakers of the province for ignoring them in the past three years.

When contacted the dissidents group of the PTI MPA Yaseen Khalil reaffirm his stance against the ministers corruptions in the province and said the group with its force of its own workers will participate the rally.
