ISLAMABAD: The Tarnol Police has started backing culprits involved in the Toyota Rawal Motors Firing case. The head of the ‘Qabza Mafia’, Kamaluddin, enjoys the support of the SHO, Munir Jafri.
According to details, during the midnight of Friday and Saturday, the influential land grabbers entered the premises of the showroom owned by Toyota Rawal Motors and started firing as a result of which one person Khuda Bakish sustained serious injuries.
Firstly the police refused to register the case against the influential land grabbers, However, an FIR was lodged after 48 hours after the media carried this incident. Despite the registration of the FIR, the police could not arrest the culprits Kamaluddin and his allies that were nominated in the case. Furthermore, pressure started to mount on the complainants to withdraw the case.
The police also took te erroneous stance that the applicants opened firing due to an enmity between them and their staff. The police adopted the wrong path in the investigation and instead of apprehending the the culprits, forcefully snatched the arms from the security guards of the showroom and sent them to the laboratory for analysis to prove that the guards of the company opened firing and the real culprits were guiltless in the case.
