Published on: May 17, 2020 2:21 AM

Produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, drama serial ‘Kahin Deep Jalay,’ after an unbeaten run, ended recently.

The much-loved drama serial ended on a happy note, but people are as well calling it a heart touching episode. The negative character of Shameela received hate throughout the run of the drama, and after what happened to her, in the end, she got people thinking she got the perfect ending.

Directed by Saima Waseem, written by Qasira Hayat and produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, the drama revolved around the themes of love, revenge, jealousy and trust issues. The main leads of the show are Neelum Munir as Rida, Imran Ashraf as Zeeshan, and Nazish Jahangir as Shameela.

In the past few months, 7th Sky Entertainment has been keeping us entertained with a plethora of super hit dramas with different storylines that have managed to keep fans, as well as critics hooked to their screens. Amidst all these stories, one of the favourites and the most different has hands-down been the much-loved drama serial ‘Kahin Deep Jalay’!

In the past few months, 7th Sky Entertainment has been keeping us entertained with a plethora of super hit dramas with different storylines that have managed to keep fans, as well as critics hooked to their screens. Amidst all these stories, one of the favourites and the most different has hands-down been the much-loved drama serial ‘Kahin Deep Jalay’

Whether it was Neelum Munir and Imran Ashraf’s sizzling on-screen chemistry, Ali Abbas’s spellbinding performance, or the conviction with which ‘Shameela’ went on to wreak havoc in everyone’s lives, Kahin Deep Jalay really managed to win hearts all around for all these things combined.

Kahin Deep Jalay dominated the TRP ratings for Geo Television various times. Its indulging episodes not only made it one of the most loved dramas amongst the audience, but the last episode of Kahin Deep Jalay also got record-breaking high TRPs of 19.1, which also depicted its popularity amongst its viewers and how much it had successfully captured the attention of the audience, especially with its ending.

The drama offered a different perspective on how life can affect people, especially when you are surrounded by someone you can trust. Kahin Deep Jalay stressed that life could challenge us at any time; while we assume everything is going well, it can suddenly take a different route leaving us at a crossroads. Where it is vital to put your trust in your family, it is also extremely important to stand up for yourself and know what is happening around you.

The story encircled the lives of Rida (Neelum Munir) and Zeeshan (Imran Ashraf), where Imran Ashraf and Neelum Munir’s characters are straightforward yet complex, given what life throws at them. The two play each other’s love interests in the drama, but that’s not it. The show also managed to dive deeper into family dynamics and how they can get ruined in a matter of minutes. It could serve as a viewpoint on how society and its shallow ways can end up the nicest of people in bad situations.

Kahin Deep Jalay was a modern tale of love and hatred and is definitely another drama serial that will be remembered for a long time. Where it gave us hope, it also reminded us to be careful of everyone around us. Though in the end, the truth will prevail no matter what.
